Step 1: Do now. Use your homework reading to complete the questions about China's influence over Japan.
Step 2: Compare and Contrast. How was Japan's government similar or different to China's government before Prince Shotoku imitated Chinese structures? How was it similar or different to China's government after that influence?
Homework: Study District 5 & 6 on quizlet for a minimum of 20 min and then complete the test using 45 words, with a score of 80% or higher. Bring a note from a parent stating that you studied district 5 for x minutes, set the test to 45 terms, and received 80%+.
