Day 97: Chinese Inventions (Day 3)


Standards:

7.3 Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the civilizations of China in the Middle Ages.

7.3.2 Describe agricultural, technological, and commercial developments during the Tang and Song periods.



SS Objective: 
HHG Tributes will be able to describe Chinese technological developments (military) from about 200 to 1400 C.E., especially during the Tang and Song dynasties. 

ELA Objective: 
HHG Tributes will be able to Sequence of Events graphic organizer after reading and highlighting the text according o main idea, important (supporting) details and interesting (extra) details.

Step 1: Do Now. Open your homework Day 96. Make a copy of today's worksheet. Complete the Do Now.

Step 2: Together we will read about ancient Chinese military technologies. We will track, highlight for main idea, important/interesting ideas, and place the reading according to sequence of events.

Step 3: We will use then use our main ideas and details into an annotated summary frame using complete using appropriate transition words.

2. Highlight for main idea, supporting idea, interesting ideas
3. Complete Main idea graphic organizer
4. Complete Sequence of Events organizer
5. Summarize following the format of the summary frame.
