Socrative is a great way to make sure that we are all moving along together. If there are questions that you get wrong or don't understand, there are a lot of different ways for you to get caught up with the material:
- Review readings we have done in class and for homework
- Re-watch the videos linked on daily lessons
- Ask Ms. Kelly!
Learning takes time and effort! The more you put in to it, the more you will get out of it. :)
Step 2: Social and political structures of ancient Rome. Place the events on the timeline. Use the years to figure out their order. We will be using this template to take notes. Please save your own copy.
Step 3: Open your vocabulary homework from last week.
Turn and talk: Turn to your shoulder partner. Which words did you already know? What context have you heard them in? Share your definitions. Are they the same? Different? Change your definitions if you need to! (3 min.)
Step 4: We will begin reading and annotating this article together. The more you practice, the better you get! Why do you think we read so much?!?!
Homework: Finish annotating the article from step 4, then use it to complete this workbook page, explaining the different levels of Rome's Republic and how it is the foundations of our government in America today.
