Fall of the Inca

Objective: The HHG Tributes of 2018 will be able to explain the European role in the fall of the Incan Empire.

Do now. Answer these questions using yesterday's reading. You should be able to describe the Incan social structure -- and know a few key differences between their structure and the Aztecs. You can also view this video using your headphones.

Spanish Conquest of the Inca. Who, what, when, where and why! You should be able to tell the story of the fall of the Inca.

 


Mesoamerica Review. Look at your notes and readings. What key terms and ideas do you need to review for the test?  There is only a part of the Mesoamerica unit posted on Quizlet. It is your job to complete your set of cards! What might you want to quiz yourself on? Reasons for the fall of the Aztec Empire? Farming techniques used by the different tribes? Be creative! This is a tool you can use forever.

1. Open flashcards for District 7 on quizlet
2. Make a copy of the cards adding your Initials to the title
3. Scroll to the bottom and add terms/definitions that you have found in your notes and readings.
4. You should be able to add about 20 terms.

Finished early? If you have spent at least 15 minutes on Quizlet studying, then you may work on studying for your geography (African, or Central & South America for people who still need to pass it) quiz on Friday.

Homework:
1. Make a comic or video that tells the story of the fall of the Inca. Be creative! Post the link to your creation in the comments sections of today's lesson.
