Intro to Mesoamerica

Standard: 7.7 Students compare and contrast the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the Mesoamerican and Andean civilizations.

Objective: The HHG Tributes of 2018 will be able to locate Mayan civilizations on a map and describe Mayan social structures.

1. Do Now: Make a copy of today's handout. Then, think back to our CIA Factbook analyses. When you think of Central and South America, what images and ideas come to mind? Use examples, complete sentences and proper grammar-- No TMNT!
