Day 91: Political Developments in China (day 4)

Homework
Illinois:
Read, track and answer the questions for just the FIRST SECTION (Agriculture, stop after completing the first table of questions) of China Develops a New Economy. No Ninja Turtles.

Illini ONLY | Extra Credit Opportunity (You know this is rare, you should probably do it :) 
After reading the China Develops a New Economy, create a flyer promoting the aspect of society (agriculture, commerce, or urbanization) you believe most improved the medieval Chinese economy. Your flyer will graded on creativity, neatness, and the following requirements:
  1. Clearly states what aspect (choose 1) of society you believe most improved the Chinese economy. 
  2. Includes a slogan about the aspect you chose to persuade others that your opinion is valid.
  3. List three ways in which this aspect of society specifically improved the economy (looking for high level-- high school quality statements). 
  4. Include a simple sketch or decorative art illustrating that aspect of medieval China (aka: make it look awesome).

UPenn/UCDavis:
  1. Make a copy of this Economics of China graphic organizer
  2. Open this website and scroll to the table.
  3. Open each notebook on the table (Silk and trade) and take notes on each (there are multiple pages/ pictures)
  4. Open the sourcebook. Click the economy 1 tab and take notes. Click the economy 2 tab and tak notes.
  5. We will check the homework in class.
