Step 2: Jury Trials. Why did people initially think trial by jury was unfair? What do we do today to keep juries as unbiased as possible?
Step 3: King John and the Magna Carta. King John, Henry's youngest son, became king. He was not well liked, to say the least. The effects of his rule, and the Magna Carta that he was forced to sign, can still be seen today. Here is the powerpoint we will be going over today.
