Step 1: Do now. Make a copy of this document, then complete the fill in the blank exercise. We will be using this page for notes today as well.

Finished early? Take a look at the comparison between the Roman government and the Roman Catholic Church on the second page of the today's notes! Then, use Google Draw to create a picture that shows the hierarchy (example: pyramid of power) of the church. Save it as "EC: Church Hierarchy" in your History folder. (Extra credit! Step 2: Class notes. Taking notes is a really important skill. When you get to high school and college, you will be expected to listen to teachers and professors talk about a subject and determine what is important to write down and remember.
