Standard 7.1.2: Discuss the geographic borders of the empire at its height and the factors that threat­ened its territorial cohesion.

Standard 7.1.3 Describe the establishment by Constantine of the new capital in Constantinople and the development of the Byzantine Empire, with an emphasis on the consequences of the development of two distinct European civilizations, Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic, and their two distinct views on church-state relations.

SS Objective: HHG Tributes of 2018 will be able to show mastery of the Roman Empire Unit by scoring 80% or higher on the Final Exam.

Task 1: We will go over the Thinking Skills quiz on Rome from Homeroom this morning.

Task 2: Clear off your desk, and prepare to silently take your exam on paper. Note: You must track your thinking (define key terms, make connections, explain why the answer you chose is correct, explain why the other answers are wrong, etc) on every question in order for me to accept your completed exam.
